I've made quite a bit of headway on the edits to Wildcat, but I still haven't written the dedication and acknowledgments. Those are always tough for me because, for the most part, these stories come right out of my head with very little help from anyone. Stud was different in that I had to do some research, but Wildcat revolves around horses, roses, and Zetithian hunks--three topics about which I'm reasonably knowledgeable. The funny thing is, I seem to recall writing the acknowledgements a while back, but if I did, I can't find it in my files.
I hate it when that happens. I'm sure I've done something, and apparently haven't. I suppose having already gone through the thought process, my brain tacks on the part where I've completed the task, whether I've done it or not.
Scary, isn't it? You've only thought about taking your medication, but your brain thinks you really did it.
That explains a lot, actually.
For example, this guy is in my Unused Hunks file, but I seem to recall having posted him before.
