The beds, do the dishes and
Six months later you have to
Do it all over again!!

I can so relate to Maxine, and I'm getting more like her every day. I don't clean anything anymore but the stove, the table, and the dust collection bin on my robotic vacuum cleaner. My bed never gets made because there's always someone in it.

Oops! Where the hell did he come from?????

Man oh man I clean the kitchen almost every day now and some days I could just throw all the dishes away. *Looks down at the man in the bed and promptly faints*
I would do him over & over again LOL.
This guy is a KEEPER!! Just...WOWSER!!!
I don't clean much either...unless I know someone's coming over, I just figure it's wasted energy! I do clean my kitchen, bathroom and bedroom---but the rest of the house is just the "staging area" for my life, so I don't worry until it REALLY needs cleaning!
One other thing I would like to clean is the kitchen window. It looks out onto the deck and my roses and I'd like to be able to see them better. LOL! Yet another thing I need to do when I return from NY!
I'm lucky to keep up with meals and laundry. Cleaning? Six months is close :D
**gets out the smelling salts for Ana** LOL!
I he was in my bed, I'd never get out of it! :D
Trying to clean my house too before I leave for NYC. Hard to believe we're heading out on Monday!!
You noticed how Ana collapsed right on top of Cody. Well Done. Well Cheryl, why would you want to do the cleaning when you can do him. He must be out in the bunkhouse. I'm sure he does tend your horses for you. Right? Or is he the gardener? And I think by his smile. He enjoys every dang minute. I have more time now to do cleaning. But I have less desire to do so. I'm finding more fun stuff to do. But I still, do the BBVD's everyday. It's Friday and Let's get Frisky. Clean something, or not.
I am so glad to hear that I am not the only woman who feels cleaning is unimportant. Since my kids were born, we have so outgrown our little house. My choice to stay home and not return to work means that there is no extra money, so no re-modeling, etc. and stuff has just started to accumulate and get pushed into corners and stuff. I clean my kitchen and the bathrooms regularly-but I have years of clutter to go through. Not fun. Of course Cody is a great excuse to never get out of bed.
My house isn't very big, either, Lisa, and as much as I hate the thought of moving, I think it may be the only way to get rid of some of the junk around here. That or a dumpster and about two weeks of free time to go through it all! Hanging around with Cody would be a LOT more fun!!!!
@Donna. LOL! If Cody is taking care of the yard or the horses, he's laying down on the job....
@ ER & Mellanie. Can't wait until Monday!!!
I can relate. I mopped my floors last nite for the first time in 2 months. Need to spend more time cleaning and less time spit-shining weasels like Cory's.
I won't say I'm a neat freak, far from it. But I really do enjoy cleaning. My hubby always tells me,when you get home from work just sit down and rest. What a sweet guy...but I start cleaning, only after I check out the blog!I have to look at the hunks to get me started and boy Cody has got my engin going. I could clean everyones house and still have energy for him!
Wish I could say that was how I was spending my time, Alicia, but I have no such excuse!
LOL! Well, then, come on over to my house Susan!
So much good stuff today. Let's open with WINNER here:) I won a copy of VIRGIN from the Star-Crossed Romance blog. Happy dance. Lynda's kitty drew my name...got to love it. *grin*
As far as I'm concerned Maxine has the right of it. Except for the basics, I do housework only when it's absolutely necessary. I've always got a 1,000 other things I'd rather be doing and enjoying;)
Amigos...if Cody were in my bed, I'd never get out either. Then I'd die with a big smile on my face.
@Susan. I want to know what meds you're on;) Then I want to send you my address and have you come and clean until heart's content. After you do Cheryl's, of course, since she has first dibs.
Cool beans on the win, Nancy!
