Naps. There was a time when I didn't need them prior to my first night back at work. Sometimes the attempt even made me feel worse. Not so anymore. Particularly when I've been out working in the yard.
The Cat Master is NOT the woman she used to be. All I did was pot up a few plants and set out some impatiens and marigolds. The beds were already prepared. I hardly had to dig, but at one point, I damn near passed out from the heat. I've obviously been sitting indoors in front of a computer for far too long.
Peaches has sense enough to rest in the shade instead of working as fast as she can to get the work done in the time she has available. Dogs have no sense of time, and for that, they should feel truly blessed.
Anyway, before I started all that sweating and huffing and puffing, I took this picture. May God bless my rhododendrons for being the carefree beauties that they are.
And may God bless Lisa for sending me this picture.

Aww Peaches is so cute! I've missed seeing her. I love spring just for the flowers. We got my mom some hanging baskets with gorgeous fuschia flowers for her birthday/Mother's Day. Put me in the mood. Now Lisa's man - that's a whole other mood.
Awe...cuddles to Peaches and naps rock;) Queen YAH-YAH is not the woman she used to be either. *snort* Guess we'll just have to suck it up and do the best we can.
Speaking of sucking it up...and blessing Lisa twice over;)
Lisa's man was probably the best part of my day. After I got up from my nap, I decided to till the garden again so I could plant this morning when I got home from work. That way I could get it all done before the incessant rain starts again.
Of course, this WOULD be the time that the drive belt on my 21 year old rototiller finally gave up the ghost. And of course, Sears doesn't stock parts anymore. You have to order them. ETA, May 17th. Oh, joy...
Yeah Lisa, Yummy man with what I think is a noticable wet spot or tell tale sign of his desire for us. I hope we're not to warn out to pursue him. I too have to admit. I have to join the crowd in saying this Graying Yah-Yah isn't what she used to be either. My planting is a bit behind you Cat Master. My Tulips are just in full bloom. My neighbors rhododendrons are blooming too. My flowering azaleas have buds, no flowers yet. I just rolled the full wheel barrel aroundand filled my many flower pots to start planting last night. I was tired and sore. I did turn in early last night too. It must be the heat. LOL.
Peached is cute and the flowers are beautiful. As far as naps go, I love them!! I wish I could take more of them, but my kids tend to put a wrench in that. They are just getting to the age now where I can put a movie on for them and get a good nap in!
My brother is visiting from Tucson and I'm trying to persuade him to let me take a picture of him with just a pair of shorts on so I can send it to Cheryl. He is super cute and buff as hell, but a tad shy and won't let me. I know all you Yah-Yah's would like him! Little fur though...
Oops! I meant Peaches! I can't type this morning... :D
Hey Cheryl, I'm so glad I was able to brighten your day with that photo. Peaches is so cute-it's been a while since we've see her!
As for the hunk's "wet spot"-the site I stole him from had much discussion on what the wet spot was. If you look closely, it's his tank top that he's pushed down to cover his package (check his wrists) so the consensus over there was that it was sweat and not the obvious. I don't really care either way, he's just pretty to look at!
OMG...How could I forget to mention about the hunk??? Dumb Dumb Dumb!!! haha!
He's super hot, just the right amount of fur and I actually would just love to rip that tank off the rest of the way so we could see ALL of him! :*
