Well, gang, I do have some news to report today. I received the publishing schedule for Stud and it looks like you'll have to wait for it until next February. Still, the fact that I don't have to turn in the manuscript until the first of April should give me plenty of time to write more stories for the Sextet anthologies. Sourcebooks is finally giving me enough time to finish a book without feeling like I have no time to do anything but write, write, write. Believe it or not, over the past several days I have actually played my guitar, ridden a horse, and worked out on my treadmill! In Sextet news, the Sharing anthology will come out ahead of the Dirty Dancing volume since we now have all six of those stories completed. I'm glad because there were only three of us on the DD stories and it would seem wrong to debut as the Sextet when there were only three of us! The first release date will still be May 2oth.
Anyway, with all this going on, suffice it to say, I'm feeling pretty upbeat. In fact, I'm feeling so good, I think we'll play a little game.
So here's your opportunity to test your Hunk IQ.
He's well known to you all, but can you identify him without seeing his face?
NAME THIS HUNK!!!!

It's that guy! With the black hair! He wore only that apron and took a tray of food to that very lucky lady in bed. LOL I can't ever remember names. I have such terrible memory.
I'm sad we have to wait until next February to read Stud but at the same time i'm glad you get to work on more writing Cheryl and more importantly that you get to breathe a little easier too :)
Anne, I wanna say the man your talking about is Niko.
I think this is a picture of Mr Daniel Morocco
I thought it was The Chief without his piercings (4th pic on the left sideline).
And great news on the writing stuff. Nice to have time to be creative.
Ana's back. Yeah!
Thanks, Ana! Breathing room is always a good thing, but when you've got a deadline, time marches on just a little more quickly than normal. Which means that spring will be here before we know it!
I say that when we are supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow today...
As far as the hunk, no, it isn't Niko...
LOL! You really know your hunks, Elizabeth! Bingo!
You got him too, Mary G! I have another pic of him tomorrow. His hair is shorter, his muscles are bigger, and he's a bit older, but he's still got that certain something that make me want to pounce on him!
Funny thing about creativity; sometimes the best ideas arise in times of desperation. It turns out to be worth the struggle in the end, but the road to completion is sometimes a bit rocky...
I spent several long moments comparing the faceless hunk of the day with Big Chief before clicking on the comments. Same sexy belly button, same amazing biceps, same...other things :D Yummmmm.
Ana, sorry I misspelled your name.
LOL Cheryl, I look at his pictures so much that I memorized his body. *sigh*
OMG!!!I'm so late to play the game. Even though I've been up for a few hours. I'm reading a amazing series called Virgin River by Robyn Carr. It's so hard to put them down, let alone sleep. And I've had Big Chief in my head as a main character of this series. Now I'm think of our Danny as John aka Preacher. But I knew this was our Daniel(aka BIG chief) the minute I scanned and seen first the ear piercing and then all his hard sculptured Yummyliciousness.
Ana you've been gone too long. We need to catch you up to warp speed here again. LOL
It's good to hear you have more time to relax and work your magic on upcoming books. We wouldn't want you rushing through Stud. At least we have Virgin to look forward to this year yet. And Of ciurse the Sexy Sextet Anthologies. Yeah for You and Yeah for us. I would go throw myself in the snowbank. But dang it's a -12 today. I heard that The recess in schools here still is outside. But 40 degrees in Arizona will keep the Kids inside for recess. That would be balmy.
Well, I knew that was Daniel sans the long hair and nipple piercings! He's also a bit more muscular in this photo. Still looking good though!
Cheryl, things are just moving along for you! So glad the words are coming. I find it amazing that you can write different things simultaneously-I'm so impressed! I am so looking forward to everything coming out and will try to wait patiently. :) I'm also very glad I got a Nook for Christmas so that I'll have no problems getting your e-books! Yay!
Well. well, well... looks like Danny Boy has made a lasting impression on us all! Yep, you can change the body and the piercings and the hair, but the YD and dangly bits stay the same!
-12??? Wowza! It's still snowing here. Just keeps coming down and piling up. I got my new wool-lined barn boots yesterday. Didn't do too badly in the snow this morning, but they aren't all that tall. If it gets much deeper I'll have to wear Budley's boots!
Glad you're happy with your Nook, Lisa. I use my iTouch for ebooks, but only have the Kindle app. Don't know if there is a Nook app or not. I'll have to check on that.
I've really been trying to buckle down and finish Stud this month, but haven't been rushing it. Now I can take my time. When last I left them, Tarq and Lucy were... well, guess I'd better not put any spoilers here... *wicked grin*
Donna, I've read most of the Virgin River series. You'll enjoy them all. Robyn Carr writes a very good story, and I can see Big Chief as Preacher :)
Yep---the Chief !!!
Donna--the Virgin River Series is wonderful, I love them too, and can somehow NOT see the Chief as Preacher, but then, who cares??
I'm 2 months into the healing of my ribs, from that car-crash-fiasco that pre-dated my Mother's death by a few weeks---and they've changed my medication, so that I can feel sorta sane at least a few hours each day. Nice change! I've been missing a lot, here, though--trying to catch up...
I do love our Daniel but honestly, I love the photo of him on the sidebar better than today's. I'm not drawn to bodybuilder type muscles.*shrug* There's nothing wrong with his YD, however:)
I'm loving the sound of more balance in your life, Cheryl. Way to rock!
@Donna. I'm a huge fan of Robyn Carr and have read every book to date in the Virgin River and Grace Valley series. I discovered her in 2008 via a Kate Douglas recommend. Daniel would make a fine "Preacher";)
Glad you're feeling better, Suzy! Good to have you back with us.
I agree, Nancy. That will always be the Big Chief's best pic, and I liked him much better before he bulked up. But he's still got those eyes and that awesome cleft in his chin... *fans self very vigorously*
I'm with you, Nancy!! IMHO, that is NOT the most flattering picture of his YD, either. Not that it's terrible...but he (and his YD) look much better in other pictures.
Hey you Robyn Carr fans, I too have read all the Virgin River books and am hooked on this contemp/rom. If you have not read the recent release, you should. It's called Promise Canyon and features Clay Tahoma, a Navajo Indian. I have to admit that I pictured The Big Chief for this character instead...must have been the long hair, which incidently, Clay wears in a ponytail! :) I'm not sure who I envision for Preacher. I'll have to think on that one.
Glad to hear you have some breathing room before Stud needs to be turned in, you can't rush perfection you know! It's always nice to have time to do other things you enjoy besides writing! It freshens the mind!
Unfortunately for me though that means I have to be patient for another year...sigh...I'll try my best! At least I have Virgin and the Anthologies to look forward to! Yeah!!!
I think the Chief looks good any which way you look at him. How can he not? He knows he's hot!
@Lisa. Well duh on me. I just finished Promise Canyon (Robyn Carr) a couple of days ago and yes, Daniel would make an excellent Clay Tahoma. He did wear his waist length hair in a pony tail and Lilly kept unbound it every time they got their sex on:)
