It just doesn't get any better than that, does it?Though it might be better if we could get just a little bit closer. . . .
My youngest son turns twenty-one today, and boy, oh, boy do I feel old! It's even worse when you consider that I was 33 as opposed to 23 when he was born.
I guess I shouldn't feel too bad, though. Most of my friends are grandmothers, and many of them are younger than I am.
See? Every cloud has a silver lining, not to mention the fact that we can now sit in the bar if the Outback is too crowded tonight.
LOL! I'll bet Sam is the only 21 year old who goes to the Outback for the macaroni and cheese!

I hear you on the age thing! I had such plans-marriage and kids in my mid 20's so that I would still be "young" enough to enjoy my life and travel. HA! I didn't even meet my hubby till I was 28 and my son was born when I was 32. A lot of my friends had kids late, though, so we are all in the same boat!

Unknowingly I celebrated with Sam this morning because I also had Cheerios...as I do almost every morning. I can eat them without sugar but usually add some fresh fruit...this morning it was blueberries. Happy Birthday to you Sam. I can barely remember since it's been like five freaking decades ago...but I'm not bitter. *grin*

Now Diva...I never said I wanted to ogle hunks my exact age (good grief!) but there are a few close enough that I would tumble for sure;) There are more than a few, however, with another 15 to 20 years added to Benji's age that I can get a serious fantasy on;)

my biggest fantasy is being stuck in an elevator w/ LL. ok, if that actually happened though, i wouldnt know what 2 do, would probably hyperventalate, & die...but then he could give me mouth 2 mouth & i would live. then the process would start all over.
