I've about blogged myself out on Rogue, and fortunately, those guest blogs that are still to come have already been written. I'm working on Hero, and still haven't settled on the personality for my heroine. Maybe you all could help me out.
Micayla was given to an Earth woman at the age of two while the family was being chased through a spaceport by Nedwuts. She's pure Zetithian, but she's grown up not knowing what she is or where she comes from. No man has ever interested her in the slightest, though plenty have shown an interest in her. She is now about 27 yrs old and the new communications officer on a space station, which is where she makes all sorts of interesting discoveries. My dilemma is, is she reticent or bold, giggly or dry witted? Will she save the hero (Trag), or need saving herself? A girly-girl or a tomboy? Is she an
Audrey Hepburn or a Sigourney Weaver?We already know Trag--and I've gotten all sorts of mail requesting a book about him--but what sort of heroine do you think Trag would want, and what would you like her to be?

I love Audrey Hepburn. I mean seriously, I adore her. I've seen all sorts of her movies and I've read her biography and admire her so much. She was such a great person in acting and in real life too. As for the heroine for Trag, wow. Tough question. I think she should be tough but not tomboy too much. Like maybe she has her feminist side but doesn't like to be thought of as one of the "girls" Half and half? LOl. Does that make any sense? Trag is just such an interesting character and he needs a woman who will throw him off balance I think XD

Hell has no fury than a pissed off Zeitithian woman. She's strong, and she turns into a Sexy Wild Warrior Cat when the man she desires is in danger. She needs to become the Heroine. Personally, I don't understand why this is an "either/or" question?
My idea of Micayla looks a bit like Audrey--cool, elegant, and all those guys who keep drooling in her wake are obviously the victims of an airborne psychosis . . . perhaps we should summon a physician?
As for temper? cool, icy disdain should progress to the kind of cold berserker rage that would make the arrogant jerk who thought blowing up a planet was a good idea hide under his desk while he wets himself....but she never breaks a sweat....just bones.
