Spring colors

My favorite daffodils are in bloom right now. I think they look like clowns. Either way, they always make me smile.

Enjoy the spring!

Oh wow those are pretty. I don't see any of those around here. They finally changed the title right at work. On the BN lookup computer we have, it was showing Outcast titled as Lover. And now it's been changed. And they have Fugitive popping up but the release date is wrong because it says February 2009 XD

Daffy Dills make me smile too!!!!But the Bleeding Hearts that I have, are are my favorite spring flowers, then Tulips, Lilacs and Lillies of the Valley. But I've never seen Blue Bells in the fields of Texas. I bet it's spectacular!!! Why do they change some of those book titles?

Hi Ana,
Yeah, they send out the preliminary stuff to the booksellers, and by the time the book is actually published, lots of things have been changed.
The blurb for Outcast on Amazon has something from a very old synopsis, and I've even changed the heroine's name since then. Originally, she was Betsy, but I changed her to Bonnie. The trouble is, once those things get into the database, they stay there until someone points out the error.
I certainly hope Fugitive wasn't out in February! My editor hasn't even read it yet....

I love Bleeding Hearts, too, Donna! I have some that are just coming up. I'll post a picture later on.
They have some process for titling books, and they rarely keep the one the author gives it. None of mine have been published with the original titles, and I'm told they may rename Fugitive, too. Changing Lover to Outcast has already confused a lot of people. It's a mystery...

I don't like the name "Fugitive" do you? That sounds like Manx's running from the Law.
It doesn't sound like a big seller. I like "Survivor" better.

Pretty! I just saw some of these by the side of the road as I drove my kids to school. And then home. And then back to school with my daughter's forgotten violin, and then home again. The trees here are starting to flower too, and if I would just start to warm up, I'd be happy! Today, more rain. Ugh.

I'm with you, Donna, I absolutely love bleeding hearts. I'd like to plant some this year.

I still find the entire process of publishing awfully mysterious. Not sure that'lll ever change!

I've never seen Bleeding Hearts. I absolutely adore the blue bonnets here XD

Ana,
So it's Blue Bonnets in the your fields.
Do they look like Ladies Hats?
I guess I have Blue Bells in my Summer Gardens.
I'm so anxious for flowers again.
We actually had snow again. Yesterday. It's back in the 30's
Last week we had a couple nice days in the 50-60's. That warm for spring here.

70's is warm? Wow warm here is 95 lol.

I got the Fugitive idea from the movie and TV series about an innocent man who was The Fugitive. However, I think your point is probably one of the reasons why they want to retitle it. I'll pass the Survivor idea along to my editor, Donna!

Hi Kendra!
I am SOOOO glad I don't have to run my kids back and forth to school anymore! Even Mike has a car to go to Purdue in now, and it's very liberating for us all!

You have my sympathy, Donna. If it snowed again here I think I'd probably go into a coma.

I'll take 70 over 95 any day, Ana, but I'd love to have some bluebonnets growing here. I've tried them, but they don't last long.

Cheryl , Ana,
I'm looking out my bedroom window and there's this white stuff blowing in the air.
Up-North where my in-laws live. The Red River is flooding. Because it was a record setting year of snow. So I'm happy. It could be worse. It could be colder or 95-100degrees. I don't like the HEAT.
I heard that Indiana has more manly men. How could you have a more Manly Man than our Mn. born "Prince"
P.S. I really think "Survivor" would be a good title. That TV show is very popular. And Manx has survived 20 years since his planet was destroyed right?

I miss snow. I wish it would snow.
